We have just finished the Christmas
holiday and are looking ahead at a new year.
This is one time of the year that
many of us spend some time actually gearing down and doing
some serious thinking about life. We tend to spend some time
reflecting on that which is really important.
I read recently from a little book
I received called, “His Name Is Wonderful.” Here
are some thoughts I want to share with you as we begin this
new year:
As the Wonderful Counselor
He
takes care of the Decisions of Life.
“You
guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take
me into glory.” Psalm 73:24 NIV
As the Mighty God He takes
care of the Demands on Life.
“...for
the Mighty One has done great things for me...holy is his
name.” Luke 1:49 NIV
As the Everlasting Father He takes care of the Dimensions
of Life.
“The
thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come
that they may have life, and have it
to the full.” John 10:10 NIV
As the Prince of Peace He takes
care of the Disturbances of Life.
“Peace
I leave with you, my peace I give you,
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not
be afraid.” John 14:27 NIV
