It is with “bittersweet” emotions I write my article this week to share a couple of staff changes. Both of these brothers have served here at Central for many years. They are loved and will be missed by many! Please pray for them, and us, as we continue to serve our wonderful Lord and the body of Christ.
I love you!

Dear Pastor Joe and Elders of Central Christian Church,
It is with both regret and anticipation that I submit this letter of resignation effective today, May 4, 2005. After much prayer and reflection it has become clear to me that the time has come for me to pursue other avenues of ministry as of yet unclear, but nonetheless waiting.
All parting is difficult and this is certainly a difficult parting, but a necessary one. I would like to express my appreciation to the leadership of Central for allowing me the privilege to serve on her staff. It has been a pleasure working with so many wonderful people whom I consider family. I will miss them very much.
Please pray for my family and me while we make preparations for the next stage of our life and ministry. May God continue to bless Central and her important ministry in the Wichita area.
Sincerely,
Paul Hill |

Dear Joe,
After much prayer and soul searching, I have made the decision to resign from my Associate Pastor position here at Central Christian Church effective May 31. Because these 13 years at Central have been some of the best of my life, this has been a very, very difficult decision to make.
As you know from previous conversations, I have been praying and seeking the Lord’s direction for some time regarding planting a church in Wichita. I am very appreciative of the fact that you and the Elders’ Executive Committee have blessed that possibility. I will be moving forward with that effort sometime between six months from now and the next two years.
First, I am wanting to address my personal health; hopefully, a little less stress, more consistent exercise, and some “sane” eating habits. Then secondly, I want to address some business concerns that will help my family and me to be reasonably secure financially as we prep to launch this new church plant.
I hope you already know how much I have enjoyed and appreciated the opportunity to serve along side you and what I consider to be the “BEST PASTORAL TEAM ON PLANET EARTH.” It has been really, really fun; an A+ experience!!!
I also appreciate Central’s investment in me over the years allowing me the opportunity to attend conferences, etc. that have helped me fine tune much of what I plan, by God’s grace, to put in place with the new church plant. I am sincerely thankful!!!
Central Christian Church will continue to be my home church and I hope I can continue being a blessing to you and this ministry!!!
Making Ministry Fun!!!
