Our current sermon series, “Fighting for Families” has proven to be very timely this summer season. I have heard from many of you confirming that these messages are ones you felt you needed to hear, are messages which have challenged you in your role as a parent, and whether single or married, with or without children, have also strengthened you in your Christian walk.
The family structure is not the same today as it was just a few years ago and it’s important we get back to the basic principles of simple every day life.
This series will conclude the weekend of August 6-7 with a message entitled “Craving God’s Best” and will focus on how to be thankful for what you do have. The complete series is available both by tape and CD by contacting our Tape Ministry at the church office.
I have really enjoyed “team preaching” with Pastor Mike Evans these past two months. Mike is a “joy” to work with and such a blessing to all of us here at CCC! Please thank him for taking on this “extra duty” this summer. As a young father, he has added so much!
